Engineering Biology in Cambridge

Are you interested in exploring the alternatives to a career in academia?

Come and hear how Cambridge postdoc, Carlos Ludlow-Palafox (CEO Enval Ltd), realised his commercial potential by working with Cambridge Enterprise. His recycling technology, developed at the University, lies at the heart of this commercial process that can turn toothpaste tubes and drinks pouches into both aluminium and fuel in just three minutes.

If you’re a postdoc and would like to learn more about commercialising your own research, Cambridge Enterprise, the commercialisation arm of the University, is holding this free event where you'll hear from an entrepreneur who's 'bin' there, done that – whether you want to share your knowledge as a consultant, license intellectual property or start a new company.

Complimentary refreshments (pizza) will be served, and you’ll have the opportunity to network with experts in technology transfer along with like-minded postdocs.

Places for this free event are limited, and are open to members of Cambridge University only.
