Earlier this year KTN/Innovate UK/BBSRC ran a webinar to explore funding opportunities for industrial biotechnology & synthetic biology in what was then the new Innovate UK delivery plan. The webinar coincided with the launch of the first Manufacturing & Materials competition (May), and we have since seen the first full cycle of sector competitions launch: the Open Competition (June), Infrastructure (July), Health & Life Sciences (September) and Emerging & Enabling Technologies (October).
On 27 October we will revisit this topic. Chris Jones (Lead Technologist for Biosciences at Innovate UK) will give an update on the upcoming funding opportunities for industrial biotechnology & synthetic biology, focussing particularly on the remit of each competition and where applications are likely to fit best. Staff from BBSRC will also provide an update on relevant funding opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity of submitting questions, and KTN staff will summarise the support on offer to potential applicants.
If you would like to take part in the webinar please register here.
