Biography
Discovered early that building biological systems was more exciting to me than only studying them, and followed that idea - which has led me to laboratory automation and high-throughput screening & selection methods. And more recently into playing with hardware design, electronics & software.
Research
Engineering strains, genomes, complex molecular machines, such as the ribosome, and enzymes. Applications for laboratory automation.
