This time we are fortunate to welcome two speakers at the cutting edge of synthetic biology reserach with presentations on tools to shape evolution and literally rewrite the code of life - exciting stuff!

Dr Vitor Pinheiro (UCL) with his presentation "Throw everything at it and see what sticks: Directed evolution as a tool for Synthetic Biology"

Prof. Alexander Taylor (Concordia University, Montreal, Canada) with his presentation "Reimagining Watson & Crick's 'secret of life': artificial genetic polymers and xenobiology"
