Tech for Good is a meetup group for people interested in using technology to tackle social issues, from large-scale social change and inequalities, to local civic participation and community building. The theme for this month will be #techforgood in farming and agritech. Speakers include:
Future Farm Lab - They are a team of scientists, artists, engineers and experience designers whose aim is to reshape farming through marrying old practices with new technology.
We Farm - is an international peer to peer service that enables farmers to share information via SMS, without the internet and without having to leave their farm.
Farmerama - who are also the founders of Vidacycle, trying to support small-scale farmers through the use of technology and help grow the movement.
