CERN launches survey to assess impact of open hardware as a knowledge transfer tool

last modified Jul 11, 2016 08:44 AM
The SynBio SRI has funded several projects working on open hardware for research and education. We are very interested in finding out more about the impact of openness on knowledge transfer and colleagues at CERN have recently announced a survey gathering data on just this point.

Please respond if you feel able and forward the information to others you know have experience of working with open hardware.

CERN Knowledge Transfer Group is investigating the impact of OSHW as a knowledge transfer tool. They invite you to participate in this brief survey that investigates various aspects of the impact of OSHW. Completing the survey takes about 10 minutes.

The results of the survey will be posted on CERN websites and made available through OSHWA.
