Engineering Biology in Cambridge

 

The SynBio IRC is searching for enthusiastic volunteers to represent postdoc experiences and help shape the future of synthetic biology research in Cambridge.

Representative will sit on the IRC steering committee, which convenes quarterly to discuss current IRC activities and initiatives, put forward ideas and direct the future focus of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre.

We are looking for postdocs and research staff interested in the areas of synthetic biology, engineering biology, and the various intersections of biology, engineering and computing. Submissions are welcome from any School or department, and we are keen to invite applications from the Schools of Technology and Physical Sciences, as well as the School of Biological Sciences. We ask for a time commitment of 4 x 1.5 hr sessions throughout the year. Committee meeting are currently held online, but will likely resume as in-person meetings at the Department of Plant Science (Downing Site) once circumstances allow.
