[24 May 2017] Business plan writing & pitching workshop

Are you a postdoc looking to start a company? Perhaps you’ve got an idea, but you need help getting it down on paper or presenting to investors.

Cambridge Enterprise and the Entrepreneurial Postdocs of Cambridge (EPOC) are holding a workshop on the skills you’ll need to form or get your start-up off the ground, run by Adelina Chalmers a.k.a “The Geek Whisperer”. This workshop covers the dos and don’ts of writing a business plan, as well as hints and tips on giving the perfect investor pitch.

This event is being held in conjunction with the Cambridge Postdoc Enterprise Competition, which opens for 2017 entries on 2 May. Participants may find this workshop useful if they plan on entering the competition.

Come to this workshop if you want to know:

  • What the judges want to see in your application and why
  • How do decide for yourself if this is a business with real potential
  • The key elements you need in your pitch to be successful.

*All postdocs are welcome to attend, even if you’re not yet sure if you’ll be entering the competition!*

Registration in advance is essential. Spaces for the workshop are limited, so reserve your place here today.

Please note: due to limited space this workshop is strictly open to postdocs only.
