[Apply by 20 May 2019] Forrest Foundation Post-Doctoral Fellowships

The Forrest Research Foundation attracts outstanding minds to Western Australia to undertake high quality research with the potential to change the world. Forrest Post-doctoral Fellows will reside in Forrest Hall and provide valuable mentoring to Forrest Scholars and provide leadership to the Forrest Research Foundation. They will carry out their research over a 3 year period to meet the requirements and expectations of their host university.

The Foundation was established in 2014 following one of the largest ever philanthropic donations in Australian history, of $65 million by Andrew and Nicola Forrest through the Minderoo Foundation. The donation is used to drive research and innovation capacity in Western Australia by awarding Forrest PhD Scholarships and Forrest Post-doctoral Fellowships to outstanding young intellects from around the world to conduct research at one of Western Australia’s five universities – The University of Western Australia, Murdoch University, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University and University of Notre Dame.

Forrest Post-doctoral Fellows are outstanding researchers of exceptional ability and resourcefulness, having the highest calibre of academic achievements and with the potential to make a difference in the world.

To be eligible, applicants must have successfully completed all the requirements for the award of their PhD on or after 1 January 2017, or will have successfully completed all such requirements by 31 December 2019.
