This month Science Makers be looking a colour - measuring it, creating it and being creative with it.

There is a new wave of sciences tools coming - science is getting connected in the lab and in the field through Internet of Things technologies, sensor networks, open source designs and protocols and more.

Science Makers is a monthly event to discuss and build low-cost, DIY and open hardware for science and education. All are welcome for the talks, making or both! This month we'll be looking at data, sensors and closing the loop.

Electrical impulses control our muscles and neurons, we'll find out how to amplify them and what that can teach us - plus we'll get hands on controlling Arduinos remotely with our minds (or muscles).
