Engineering Biology in Cambridge

The OpenPlant Forum is an event designed to bring together a range of stakeholders to explore themes in plant synthetic biology and related areas. The broad theme of this year’s meeting is "Engineering for bioproduction in plants”. Join us for an international line-up covering some of the latest advances in gene and pathway discovery, chassis design, engineering of regulatory networks and world-leading examples of application of these technologies for bioproduction.

We will showcase the latest developments in plant synthetic biology from within OpenPlant and beyond. The Forum and satellite events will also highlight outcomes from the OpenPlant Fund and Biomaker Challenge, our seed funding schemes which has already supported over 100 interdisciplinary projects led by early career researchers.
